Terms Of Use

Spice Beauty  aims to provide a first class on-line shopping experience.

Payment Security Shopping online with us is simple, safe and secure. We use the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. All credit and debit card payments are securely encrypted before transmission over the internet, and go directly to WorldPay, which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. A page is confirmed as being secure when ‘http’ is replaced by ‘https’ at the front of the www.spicebeauty.co.uk in your browser address window. We also accept credit and debit card payments over the telephone providing you have an email address, or you can pay by sending a cheque or postal order. Please contact us for details.

Basis of Sale
When you click on “Purchase” at the checkout, you offer to buy the Goods at the price indicated including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase. All orders will be subject to these terms and conditions. You must be over 18 years of age to place an order with us on-line. If your order is accepted, you will be notified by e-mail. As the confirmation is sent to you automatically, an error may have been made, electronically or otherwise, of which we are not aware. Because of this, we retain the right to cancel the order and make a full refund, as soon as we are aware of any error. You will be notified.  Electronic acknowledgement of receipt of an order, does not constitute a legal acceptance of that order. All orders are subject to approval by Spice Beauty.

British Isles Delivery Information
We deliver throughout the UK, including the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

1) Other than where indicated, postage and packing is included within the price given.  The customer accepts all responsibility for paying any relevant import duty and/or VAT, direct to the relevant authorities when imported.

2) For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Shetland Islands etc. we may have to notify you of an additional carriage charge for certain items depending on there weight/size. However, as most items are sent via the Post Office, in the majority of cases, the packing and postage charges are the same as the UK mainland packing & postage charges.

International Delivery Information
 1) Please note that when placing an order with us for delivery to an international destination the customer accepts all responsibility for paying any relevant import duty and/or VAT, direct to the relevant authorities when imported.  If the goods are not posted, due to size and/or weight, we may have to notify you of an additional carriage charge. We will not send the goods until you have agreed to the additional costs.
 2) Please note that if any item is offered for sale and the cost price is stated to be inclusive of delivery/shipping costs (free delivery), it only applies to orders dispatched to destinations within the UK, Isle of Man & the Channel Islands. There will be a delivery/shipping charge for dispatch to all other destinations. Please email us for details of additional costs and/or shipping times to international destinations.

In the event of an item ordered being out of stock for any reason, we will dispatch the rest of your order immediately and send the remaining items as soon as possible. You will not be charged again for packing & postage.

Providing we have the items in stock, most orders are dispatched within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). You will receive an email automatically, confirming dispatch, as soon as your order is loaded onto our transport for delivery to the Post Office. However, if you receive dispatch confirmation on a Saturday, the parcel will not actually be delivered to the Post Office until the following Monday. Delivery within the UK should be expected 2 - 7 business days thereafter, depending on the size/weight, time of the year and your location, but please allow 28 days. Once you have been sent notification of dispatch the order cannot be cancelled. On receipt, should you wish to return the item to us, you will be responsible for doing so as explained below in Refunds & Returns. We will make every effort to deliver promptly, and you will be notified of any undue delays as soon as we are made aware. We will choose the best possible way for your goods to be delivered. Sometimes items may arrive at different times depending on their availability, but you will be kept informed.

You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the goods. Should a second attempt to deliver the goods be necessary, you will be responsible for any additional delivery charges made. For delivery purposes you will be responsible for supplying a daytime contact telephone number.

Duplicate Purchases                                                                                                                                                                      Our stock levels are automated, but should a stock level error occur for any reason, allowing duplicate purchases to be made before we have had chance to manually label the product as 'out of stock' , and should we not expect to receive additional stock within fourteen business days, we will notify you and inform you when we expect to receive the next consignment. We reserve the right to offer you, the customer, the choice of an immediate refund or to wait for the goods to arrive.

Refunds and Returns

Damaged Goods
Please check the packing and your purchases on receipt. In the event of your goods being damaged in transit, please notify us immediately. Please ensure that you endorse any delivery note accordingly. Also, please be aware that we do not refund or replace damaged goods unless we are notified within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. If in the very unlikely event that the goods are faulty, please contact us as soon as you are aware so we may proceed with replacement.

Descriptions                                                                                                                                                          Every care has been taken to ensure that all product descriptions, ingredients, colours, measurements and prices are correct. Please note, however, that the colours on your screen may vary depending on your software & monitor settings.  All sizes should be considered to be approximate. If more precise measurements are required, or if you have any queries about any other aspects, please contact us prior to placing the order.  Ingredients given may not not be precise, however, if you require exact details for a particular cosmetic item, please contact Spice Beauty via email and we will revert with the required information for you.  As the order confirmation is sent to you automatically, an error may have been made, electronically or otherwise, of which we are not aware.  Because of this, we retain the right to cancel the order and make a full refund, where appropriate, as soon as we are aware of any error. You will be notified of this via email.  On occasion the packaging design of products may vary slightly from the pictures featured on the website.  This is completely out of our control and down to changes directly by the manufacturer.  Equally ingredients may change within a product, please contact Spice Beauty for any necessary clarification.  Electronic acknowledgement of receipt of an order does not constitute a legal acceptance of that order. All orders are subject to approval by Spice Beauty.

Miscellaneous
Spice Beauty will not be liable for any errors and omissions published on this website and reserves the right to change prices, information and descriptions of the goods and services offered without notice. If a price or description published on this website is found to be incorrect for any reason, before or after an order has been placed and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, of the correct description and price and confirm with you whether or not you still wish us to fulfil your order as amended. Likewise, if we are informed that an item is delayed for any reason, before or after an order has been placed by you and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, of the situation and confirm whether you wish to wait for the item to come back into stock or to receive a complete refund. Also, if we are informed that an item is no longer available for any reason, before or after an order has been placed and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, and issue an immediate refund.

If your credit or debit card has previously been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled in whole or in part, Spice Beauty shall issue a refund to your same credit or debit card account, either in full or in part as you so decide. Every effort will be made, but if we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to treat the order as cancelled, and to issue a full refund. All goods will remain the property of Spice Beauty until full payment has been received.

Spice Beauty may change or amend any of the above mentioned terms and conditions without notice. However, when an order is placed and accepted by us, the existing terms and conditions will apply for a 28 day period thereafter, after which the new or amended terms and conditions shall apply. The customer should therefore, review our terms and conditions every time an order is placed.

Force Majeure

Spice Beauty and its agents shall have the right to refuse to supply any item, cancel or delay any delivery if it is prevented from or hindered in delivery of the goods through circumstances beyond its control, including industrial action, war, fire, flood, prohibition or enactment of any kind, trade disputes or lock-out without incurring any liability for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting thence from.

Law and Jurisdiction

Spice Beauty is a registered business names of White Rock Distribution Limited which is a Jersey registered company. All conditions and the contract shall be governed by and subject to the laws and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Island of Jersey, Channel Islands.  Spice Beauty is not legally required to charge VAT to its clients, however, VAT and Customs charges may be payable on reciept of goods into the UK.  Items under £17.99 should not be charged VAT, however, please check with your local Cusoms department for further clarification of charges in your area.
